If the DRC were a chessboard, its Belgian-groomed ruler, Felix Tshisekedi would be the clown tossing the pieces in every direction. Every move he makes is calculated to amplify chaos.
Today, this incompetent imposter-usurper claims he wants to “resurrect” the Luanda Process, a project he once dismissed with scorn. The very fact that Tshisekedi flips on his own commitments exposes him as a chaos agent, someone for whom consistency, credibility, and national stability are useless.
What we see today is a man who multiplies peace processes for two cynical reasons: first, to use them as Trojan Horses against the Congolese military-political movement M23/AFC, whom he and his gang of mafiosi still foolishly perceive as “Rwandan puppets”; second, to ensure none of these processes ever succeed.
Furthermore, Tshisekedi is a consummate liar. Never has he honoured his word or his signature. From Nairobi to Luanda, Washington to Doha, Tshisekedi’s playbook is the same: sign agreements, pose for photographs, then betray, stall, and sabotage. As a result, the Doha and Washington processes became simply carbon copies of the Nairobi and Luanda processes.
All the while, Tshisekedi’s regime played the familiar game of externalising the blame: “it’s the mediators,” “it’s the Rwanda,”, it’s the EAC,” never it’s the liar of Tshisekedi’s regime.
Now, the Congolese people see this charlatan for what he is: a pizza-maker-turned-Congolese ruler with zero credibility, zero strategy, and zero care for the lives of those he claims to serve.
Today. Tshisekedi has angered all the successive mediators: Kenyatta, Lourenço, Gnassingbé, the Emir of Qatar, and even the Trump administration have all been burned by Tshisekedi’s bad-faith manoeuvring.
Now, after years of barking, his long string of failures proves that he is a chaos agent, a liar, a manipulator, and a total incompetent.
He multiplies processes so that none succeed, sabotages solutions, and ensures that the DRC remains in a permanent state of war that will allow him to extend his hold on power beyond 2028.
