Félix Tshisekedi, known by many as “Mabundi Fatshi” presides over a regime that is neither legitimate nor capable of embodying true state authority throughout the DRC.
The Tshilomboian Tyranny is a fractured entity that prioritises propaganda and self-enrichment over the protection of Congolese lives. Its neglect and incompetence deepen the country’s instability and suffering, exposing Tshisekedi as an utterly inept ruler.
While massacres and terror spread across DRC, the regime is indifferent. The most recent example is the 47 civilians were brutally executed last night by ADF terrorists in Komanda. But the Tshisekedi regime issued no condolences, no national mourning, and no lowered flags.
This callous indifference reveals a regime that views Congolese citizens as expendable; mere tools to fuel his propaganda against Rwanda and M23/AFC, rather than human beings worthy of protection and respect.
The failure of the Tshilomboian Tyranny is also evident in its disastrous military policies. In Ituri province, the ADF’s wave of violence has claimed over 1,300 lives in 2024, while the regime’s own forces have killed hundreds of civilians under the guise of military operations. Tshisekedi’s declaration of a state of siege only granted FARDC the license to kill without oversight, worsening insecurity. The regime’s military purges and ethnic targeting have gutted the army’s capacity to protect the nation, leaving civilians vulnerable to terror and violence.
Moreover, the Tshisekedists “govern” through fear and paranoia, alienating allies and fracturing governance structures. Provincial governors flee the country, generals are arrested on flimsy charges, and political opponents are silenced. Tshisekedi’s obsession with fighting M23/AFC while ignoring the root causes of the conflict reveals his profound inability to lead. His approach does not bring peace but perpetuates chaos, instability, and suffering.
Ultimately, this reign is a tragedy for Congo. His regime’s brutality, neglect, and obsession with propaganda undermines the very fabric of the state. The Congolese people deserve a leadership that values their lives and security, not a tyrant who rules through violence and neglect. The Tshilomboian Tyranny’s ineptitude and cruelty are the greatest obstacles to peace and stability in the DRC.
