Tshisekedi’s warmongering hits new levels of ridiculousness

Just when you thought Congolese ruler Félix Tshisekedi’s buffoonery can’t get any more absurd, he proves everyone wrong yet again.

This time by sending a pharmacist-turned-Defence Minister, Guy Kabombo Muadiamvita, to the 18th International Exhibition of Defence and Security Technologies in Brno, Czech Republic, to shop for more weapons.

These weapons won’t be used to protect the Congolese people. They will be handed over to a network of militias, among them the “Wazalendo,” whose speciality is hunting down Congolese Tutsis.

Also you have the genocidal FDLR, heirs of the perpetrators of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda and bearers of a hateful racist ideology against all people of Tutsi ethnicity.

Towards this the Congolese parliament has approved a jaw-dropping 10.4% of the national budget to “defence and national security” for 2025. Well, anyway whatever they won’t embezzle…

Meanwhile the majority of the Congolese population starves. The average Congolese survive on less than a dollar a day.

It’s beyond farcical.

Tshisekedi’s mouthpiece, Patrick Muyaya, spouts nonsense about “dialogue” in Doha and Washington, but Tshisekedi himself is busy shopping for more weapons to slaughter his own citizens. His regime is crippled militarily, weak in communications, and powerless diplomatically. But a fool can never learn.

Tshilombo still clings to his doomed warmongering strategy.

At this point, Tshisekedi is utterly detached from reality.

His continued pursuit of war, his policy of ethnic persecution of his country’s Tutsi citizens, and his sham “peace talks” will be the surest path to his eventual downfall.

The Congolese would be much more relieved if it came sooner.
