Can Muyaya & Co ever realize their con of blaming Rwanda for Congo’s problems is about over?

Amidst mounting crises in the DR Congo, the regime mouthpiece Patrick Muyaya continues their tired blame-Rwanda-for-everything game.

But when will they understand that scapegoating a neighboring country won’t work anymore, amidst the chaos unraveling at home?

The Congolese “justice system” is in disarray. Constant Mutamba the minister of justice, a notorious drunkard is being prosecuted for embezzling public funds (they all
embezzle, meaning the cabal head, Felix Tshisekedi, is after Mutamba).

Former premier Augustin Matata Ponyo has fled the country (him too after they started pursuing him for “embezzlement”).

Former president Joseph Kabila, now in Goma, has begun consultation meetings with religious leaders, which has triggered panic among the political elite and military leadership.

Reports indicate that Tshilombo has had 29 generals arrested, 22 of whom are said to have been affiliated with an alleged “Kabila faction.” This has shaken the military to its core, prompting the current army chief to respond with accusatory finger-pointing. Kinshasa itself is increasingly plagued by insecurity, as criminal elements exploit the vacuum created by governmental dysfunction.

And yet, what does Muyaya focus on? Holding press conferences to blame Rwanda.

Recently, the Kinshasa regime Chief propagandist proclaimed: “to achieve reconciliation, one must be able to make the right diagnosis. The evil must be called by its name! The evil is Rwanda!”

Really?

Sensible Congolese ask, will blaming Rwanda end the unfathomable corruption? Will it bring back the billions lost to embezzlement? Will it fix the dilapidated public infrastructure or secure the streets of Kinshasa?

The misfortune of the DRC is not Rwanda, to point out the obvious.

It is the Congolese political class itself starting with this vuvuzela Muyaya who use distraction and propaganda to cover up Tshisekedi’s failures.

The blame-Rwanda narrative no longer holds water. The facts are too stark, too stubborn.
Shouting “Rwanda!” at every crisis is the reflex of a regime that has failed its people. It’s a desperate attempt to mask the rot at the heart of the state a state captured by Tshisekedi’s incompetence, tribal favoritism, corruption, and brutal repression.

It’s the tyranny of Tshilombo and his inner circle, who have hijacked an entire nation for their own benefit. Enough is enough. The Congolese people deserve better than smoke screens and slogans. They deserve accountability, reform, and leadership not scapegoating and deceit.
