Visit Rwanda: the World Is noticing, and visiting

To all the anti-Rwanda voices echoing across Europe:
There is no escape! Visit Rwanda is everywhere you go.

From the shirts of Arsenal to Bayern Munich, PSG to Atletico Madrid, and even emblazoned on London buses, Rwanda’s message is loud, clear, and global: we’re not hiding, and we’re not going anywhere.

Tourists from all corners of the globe continue to visit. Businesses invest.

Why? Because Rwanda is safe, stunning, and open for business.

The country’s recently announced partnership with Spanish football powerhouse Atletico Madrid is just the latest step in positioning Rwanda as a premier destination for tourism, investment, and sports development.

Despite persistent noise from detractors, the Visit Rwanda campaign has had a massive impact, generating nearly US$ 650 million in tourism revenue just last year.

Yet some still try to discredit this progress.

Not long ago, the DRC regime, through its foreign minister Thérèse Kayikwamba, sent letters to our partners including Arsenal, PSG, Bayern Munich, and the NBA’s Basketball Africa League urging them to cut ties with Rwanda. A more daft government than that of Tshilombo has never existed!

No one listened to the ravings of lunatics.

Those partnerships were not only upheld, many were renewed.

Critics such as genocidaires fugitives and groups like Jambo ASBL have strenuously attacked the Visit Rwanda campaign. They too have miserably failed.

Their smears are rooted in the past, while Visit Rwanda continues to build the future.

Renewing long-term partnerships and continuing to support a country that is safe, beautiful, and open for business is a given.

But of course Rwanda’s story is not just about tourism.

It’s about leadership, innovation, and a nation confidently telling its own story to the world.

Facts speak louder than tweets or negative headlines.
