A historic day in Goma

The majestic M23/AFC, a movement committed to defending the rights of DRC’s Tutsi community against pogroms, ethnic cleansing and genocide by the Kinshasa regime, has finally liberated Goma, the capital of North Kivu Province. When the M23/AFC entered the city, the streets erupted with euphoria as the long-oppressed local population embraced their liberators.

For the people of Goma, this moment marks a crucial turning point in their lives. They’ve seen through the lies and failures of Tshisekedi’s regime and know that the M23 is their true salvation.

The situation in Goma had become unbearable under Tshisekedi’s coalition forces OF his so-called “wazalendo” and the tropical Nazis from FDLR, as well as foreign forces like the Burundian army and the notorious Imbonerakure militia. These forces, acting under the direct command of Tshisekedi, have committed unspeakable atrocities, from looting to the systematic abuse of the civilian population. It’s no wonder that the people of Goma have turned their backs on Tshisekedi’s forces and greeted the M23 with open arms as the true agents of liberation.

Tshisekedi’s coalition forces, fully aware of their military cowardice and complete lack of popular support, have been fleeing in droves. In their wake, they leave behind a trail of destruction and plunder. Before abandoning their posts and retreating into Bukavu or fleeing to Rwanda, Tshisekedi’s soldiers and militia indulge in a final spree of looting—pillaging banks, shops, and private homes. As the M23/AFC takes control, these acts of barbarism are being swiftly put to an end, further cementing the M23’s role as the true champions of the Congolese people’s cause.

In the end, the advance of M23 continues to be met with overwhelming joy and enthusiasm from the citizens of Goma, who see the Congolese movement not only as liberators but as a force capable of restoring peace and justice to a region long plagued by the incompetence and criminality of Tshisekedi’s regime. The M23/AFC mission is clear: to build a strong, democratic Congolese state that respects the rights of all its citizens.
