Following a total humiliation in Paris at the Francophonie Summit, Tshisekedi decided to cut short his stay in France. He then ordered his social media propaganda noisemakers to threaten the ultimate withdrawal from the Francophonie International Organization (OIF).
Tshisekedi’s dramatic exit was nothing but an act of shame from a reckless incompetent ruler, whose record so far is incompetence, whining, scapegoating others, violence, and hate speech.
The big crybaby had been banking on the support of France’s President and other world leaders in the OIF, childishly expecting that France would join his scapegoating of Rwanda, or that France would echo his bleatings that Rwanda is “aggressing” DRC.
To his shock, Tshisekedi was told to take responsibility and address his country’s issues, including disengagement with the genocidal FDLR, ending his regime’s hate speech against the minority Tutsis Congolese, and approach the issue of M23 from a political perspective.
Embarrassed through and through, Tshisekedi decided to cut short his stay in France, which he did without even attending a presidential dinner hosted by President Emmanuel Macron on Friday night. As of now, fatso hasn’t even officially resurfaced in Kinshasa. He is too humiliated to face the world!
DRC’s empty threats to pull out of OIF mirror similar tirades of Tshisekedi last year, when he sabotaged the East African Regional Force operations (EACRF) in the Eastern DRC. Refusal of EACRF in political partisanship, or to endorse his tribalistic approaches in handling the crises in Eastern DRC made Tshisekedi throw a tantrum and he threw out the Kenyan monitoring force.
Months later he would threaten to leave the Eastafrican bloc and focus more on SADC.
Whether this goon decides to get his country out of OIF (or EAC), nobody really cares. Tshisekedi’s presence in these organizations has only dragged them down, making the DRC an unwanted burden. The efforts people use trying to reason with the goon can better be used into something else, like boosting economic ties and fostering real progress in the region, without the disruptive DRC.
Bye, and don’t let the door hit you on the way out!
