When seeking explanations from Kenya, Tshisekedi forgets too quickly that the seeds he planted are now bearing fruit

After the meeting in Nairobi where the M23 President Bertrand Bisimwa and exiled former Congolese electoral commission President Corneille Nangaa declared a joint politico-military party called “Alliance Fleuve Congo” (AFC), the Kinshasa regime that calls the two political figures “enemies” asked the government of Kenya to offer explications, but in reality, Tshisekedi reaps what he sows, because he was the one who organised provocative and subversive activities against Rwanda, in facts he owes Rwanda many explanations.

Before Tshisekedi demanded explanations from the Kenyan Government for a mere statement, what is more provocative than collaborating with a genocidal militia FDLR by arming them to launch attacks on Rwandan soil, he owed explanation to Rwanda on how he integrated a US and UN-sanctioned militia FDLR into his army FARDC to shell in different occasion to Rwandan territory with aim of destabilizing Rwanda, he owes Rwanda explanation also on how he mixed his presidential guards with FDLR instead of arresting them and repatriated them to Rwanda, he also created more armed groups to wage war, collaborating with FDLR and other groups to attack Rwanda not only escalates tensions but also raises the question of what could be more provocative.

Tshisekedi received, on three occasions certain leaders of Rwandan subversive movements and promised them help to overthrow the leadership of Rwanda, by complaining that Kenya hosted enemies of his government, Tshisekedi met anti-Rwanda elements in both Kinshasa and New York one Eugene Gasana, member of RNC terror group and Thomas Nahimana to strategize on their shared plan to destabilize Rwanda, Such engagements not only strain diplomatic relations but also raise concerns about Tshisekedi’s role in fomenting unrest within Rwanda.

Tshisekedi promised, in public statements, to militarily overthrow the leadership of Rwanda and President Kagame in particular, while addressing thousands of Congolese youth in December 2022, Tshisekedi told them that Rwandans are their brothers and sisters moreover, they need Congolese help, because they are muzzled, to free them and promising to overthrow the leadership of Rwanda, he is still using such statements even during this period of campaign rallies.

It is time for the Tshisekedi regime to stop crying, he must face the repercussions of his actions, having orchestrated provocative activities against Rwanda. The seeds he planted are now bearing fruit. Political manoeuvring comes with a price, and Tshisekedi finds himself navigating the consequences of his choices on the diplomatic stage.
