Kinshasa regime using Rwanda President statement in Benin as a distraction, to evade Luanda, Nairobi agreement obligations

The rulers in Kinshasa have little work to do apart from listening in on what the Rwanda President says, so that they can grab it and blow it out of context.

President Kagame stated a historic fact about the Berlin conference and how it affected the boundaries of the Great Lakes region. However, the Kinshasa regime has made it a subject of debate for two weeks now.

The remarks by the president of Rwanda have become the agenda in the Congolese Parliament, the cabinet, the media, and all corridors of power.

But the true reason behind this obsession with this statement is the ongoing peace efforts for the eastern DRC. It is no longer a secret that Tshisekedi and his band of pseudo-politicians are not keen on the Luanda and Nairobi peace processes. In fact, they are now working hard to see that the peace initiatives fail and the East African troops pack and leave.

By playing around with President Kagame’s statement and passing it on like a football, the Kinshasa regime expects to distract the world from focusing on the peace process so that it collapses.

With the collapse of the Luanda and Nairobi peace mechanisms Tshisekedi and his UDPS gang will postpone the elections and impose themselves on the Congolese people.
