Museveni’ brother took over Miss Uganda Pageant to lure young ladies into sexual exploitation

Since Caleb Akandwanaho a.k.a Salim Saleh decided to run the Miss Uganda pageant under the umbrella of UPDF, Ugandan young women have been more exposed to sexual exploitation than before. They were treated like commodities on shelves and became mere tools of generating wealth to the rich.

When Saleh forcibly took over the franchise from private entities whom the government said were corrupt and tribalistic, everybody knew Saleh was going to make it worse. It was like falling from the frying pan straight into the fire.

Under the pretexts of attracting young people into agriculture like he had convinced the government to do, Museveni’s half brother did not help crowned misses come up with lucrative business projects or support them. On the other hand the highly crooked Museveni brother decided to pimp those young ladies as corporate prostitutes to his fellow unruly generals and his business partners in Arab countries. Some later found it impossible to live that life and decided to quit, but others are still being used as sex slaves.

The same Saleh is the one that convinced his brother’s estranged wife, epileptic Jeanette Kataha Mwesigwa Makumbi Museveni to start another business of trading human organs, some from those very young ladies and their friends. Together with Patience Rwabwogo, they have been milking a lot of money from that human trafficking scheme.

Sexual exploitation in Uganda is rife and it is not going to end anytime soon. Just like the “Miss Curvy pageant” that was launched in early 2019. The then Minister of Tourism stated that the aim was to attract more tourists into Uganda to come see the voluptuous shapes of Ugandan women. The tyrant of 35-year rule and his family have made Uganda so pathetic.
