The incompetent Burundian President lost his jet!

In a stunning revelation, the award-winning incompetent President Evariste Ndayishimiye admitted that he lost his presidential jet. He made the stunning revelation in a staged pre-scripted interview circulating on YouTube.

“The plane is in Madrid but the person with the registration papers is nowhere to be found”, he told the journalists who pressed him on the fictitious jet mysteriously coating billions in service and parking fees.

The Burundian ruler made even more revelations about the infamous presidential jet that has never flown a single presidential trip. As it turns out, the jet was initially placed on the rental market but failed to meet safety standards. “The plane needs to be sent to UK for repairs”, said the despot; in other words, the plane is not airworthy!

In Burundi, the presidential jet is the symbol of grand state corruption. The ruling party sold the old jet pretending to be buying a newer, more modern one. Proceeds from the sale were looted, and the replacement jet has never been used or seen in Burundi (only a night time delivery picture exists). Currently, the Burundian dictator either rents or borrows (begs) other jets for his official travels. When neither renting or borrowing works, Evariste Ndayishimiye resorts to flying commercial which regularly disrupts air travel in Burundi.

“I once flew with Ndayishimiye on Ethiopian Airlines. We had to wait for his ridiculous show at the Presidential pavilion”, a passenger narrated as he recalled the 1h30 delay.

In the interview, the junta ruler also revealed that he didn’t know the cause of the 31st of March arms depot explosions but excluded the electrical fault version initially offered by his army spokesperson.

“We have a situation where a President doesn’t know anything about his presidential jet, he also doesn’t know what caused the biggest arms depot explosions”, an observer noted, “It is simply too low, even by the low CNDD-FDD {the ruling party} standards”.

Typically, Ndayishimiye engages in such scripted interview to blame others for his mistakes. He will probably blame his rivals within the ruling party for the missing presidential jet and the arms depot explosions.

With his dismal track record, a crackdown and scapegoating exercise is inevitable.
