Ndayishimiye losing control of his CNDD-FDD monster*m

After working hard to ensure a CNDD-FDD single party dictatorship in Burundi, President Evariste Ndayishimiye aka Gen. Neva has just been back stabbed by his creation. Parliament, 100 percent CNDD-FDD, categorically refused to vote for Ndayishimiye’s candidate as president of parliament.

As a strategy, former president Pierre Nkurunziza forced parliament to elect “DD” bigwig Gelase Ndabirabe aka umusazi (the mad man) reputed for his mental disorders. Ndabirabe openly calls spirits and sometimes has to be physically restrained from running wild. The late Nkurunziza picked him and Ndayishimiye for their idiocy, hoping to rule indirectly, from behind the curtains, without any resistance. Nkurunziza wasn’t any different by the way, and so after his death Burundi found itself governed by those selected for their gross inabilities.

Aware of his limited knowledge and overwhelmed, Evariste Ndayishimiye proposed a candidate to parliament. He even sent a series of private messages begging to have a “normal” President of Parliament. However, our sources confirmed that newly elected MPs opted to stay with the current “mad” one instead, they feared his candidate was crazier and had strict instructions for their party Headquarters.

“It is a move that will be seen as rebellion and sabotage”, warned an official from State House despatched to parliament, “How can you do that to someone who gave the party a 100% victory?” he pleaded. The one party parliament will now begin a fight with Ndayishimiye. Our sources leaked that one of the issues is Burundi’s involvement in the DRC Congo crisis. The party wants to know more, and specifically, how much Ndayishimiye receives from Tshisekedi to secure thousands of Burundian soldiers.

Although the next battle will be the leadership of the Senate, Ndayishimiye is already fuming but has discreetly doubled his security details. He probably just realised that CNDD-FDD henchmen loyal to Nkurunziza are still more powerful than him.

Sadly, Burundi will continue living under incompetent, mentally unstable rulers.
