Congolese Foreign Minister Faces Facts at UNSC; Luanda Awaits Truth, Not Propaganda

At the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner, faced ridicule while delivering baseless accusations against Rwanda.

Her claims, which lacked evidence, included allegations of Rwanda’s involvement in crimes that in actual fact were committed by criminal Tshisekedi’s forces and their terrorist coalition including the genocidal FDLR.

During her address at the UNSC, Kayikwamba – another Tshisekedi vuvuzela- accused Rwanda of “bombing the Mugunga IDP camp.” This claim is easily refuted by evidence which shows that on 4 May this year the DRC army (FARDC) and its coalition of terrorists heavily shelled the Mugunga camp. The attack occurred shortly after the M23 announced the capture of Rubaya and Kalehe from Tshisekedi’s forces.

Every eyewitness confirmed it was the FARDC and its criminal militia partners such as FDLR and Wazalendo that perpetrated that crime.

In another shameless lie, Kayikwamba Wagner accused Rwanda of “killing civilians in Goma.” But, everyone interested in facts knows, the tragic events in Goma were the doing of Tshisekedi’s military and their terrorist partners. That was under the orders of the former military governor, Gen. Constant Ndima.

On their part, Tshisekedi’s Republican Guard massacred more than 150 civilians – a fact widely known and documented.

Despite the inflammatory accusations against Rwanda by Tshisekedi’s foreign minister, members of the UNSC emphasized that blame games and baseless rhetoric cannot solve the ongoing crisis in the DRC. Instead, they insisted on the urgent implementation of the Luanda Peace Process, which Tshisekedi’s administration has consistently failed to honor.

Yet, this Sunday, 15 December, warmonger Tshisekedi is set to meet President Paul Kagame, in the Angolan capital Luanda as part of the peace process.

In Luanda though Tshisekedi better check his lies at the door. There will be more rigorous demands for accountability, and tangible actions on resolutions of the peace process.

The Congolese regime’s reliance on propaganda and deflection will not be of much help to them this time!
