The incompetent Burundian despot, Evaristo Ndayishimiye aka “Gen. Neva” has shamelessly made the announcement that “2025 will be the beginning of development for Burundi.” So what has this so-called head of state been doing ever since he took office in 2020?
Neva made the announcement as a he launched the 18 edition of the “flaming peace torch” (a CNDD-FDD annual propaganda event).
Burundi is by all measures the poorest and least developed country in the world.
It is ruled by a tribalist regime allied to genocidaires and terrorists in the region (their goal is to subjugate or wipe the Tutsi people out of existence).
But it’s just a bunch of empty heads that wouldn’t know how to run a village, let alone a country, and their incompetence is what will lead to their downfall.
Burundi has depleted its foreign currency reserves and the economy suffers from hyper-inflation. By now it is old news that there is no fuel, water and electricity supply are constantly disrupted, and shortages of all essential goods (Fuel, sugar, medicine, imported goods. etc.) is the norm.
Evariste Ndayishimiye took over power in 2020, but his party has been in power since 2005.
Their pathetic empty promise, every year since then is that “Burundi is about to take-off and develop at an astonishing rate.”
But the hard reality is that since CNDD-FDD took power the country has been sinking ever deeper into poverty, mainly due to the “DDs” extreme corruption and gross incompetence.
Currently, Burundi is so desperate for foreign currency it rents soldiers to Tshisekedi of Congo to fight his wars (of course Gen. Neva is also ideologically aligned with Tshisekedi so it’s it’s very ok for both despots).
Pathetic DDs also are trying to sell Burundians into hard labor to countries in the middle-east and in easter Europe, to exploit them for dollars, from practices of labor abuse! “If you have dollars, Ndayishimiye will do anything you want”, remarked an individual in high office that’s known Neva for a long time.
Burundians, a lot of them, are very disillusioned.
They know Ndayishimiye is nothing but a lying incompetent.
They know very well the only thing CNDD-FDD will ever achieve is to bury Burundi in a deeper pit, and that it’s a bitter joke to hear them claim they will develop Burundi.
“They had to force Burundians to register to vote in 2025. Less that 15 percent have registered, so now he is promising to start development works and projects! What has he been doing all this time?” a Bujumbura journalist wondered. “For the last 20 years, all they do is promise and organize party like events such as crusades, flame torch relays, and concerts.”
Burundi has collapsed under the weight of corruption and mismanagement. It is now an example, worldwide, of what should not be done to a country!
