DRC Elections: Moise Katumbi is increasingly becoming Tshisekedi’s nightmare

With sixteen days left for General elections in DRC, the unpopular Tshisekedi is afraid of being outshined by Katumbi, the outgoing president Tshisekedi’s campaign continues to show the lack of strong pillars in his manifesto, he has nothing to convince the Congolese people with, instead, he opted to attack his strong contestants Moïse Katumbi.

Unpopular Tshisekedi murdering members of Katumbi in broad daylight, before the elections, Tshisekedi’s regime has cracked down on protests and jailed opposition figures close to Moise Katumbi. Cherubin Okende Senga who was the spokesperson of Katumbi’s party (Ensemble), was also murdered under mysterious circumstances, last month during the campaign rally in Maniema where Katumbi was supposed to attend his presidential campaign, Tshisekedi’s regime ordered police to shoot dead Dido Kakisingi, a lawyer of Katumbi’s political party all this was in a mission to silence Katumbi, but he continues to outshine him with a huge number of supporters.

Tshisekedi started to call Katumbi a foreign candidate and enemy of DRC, the Congolese population no longer has hope for peace. The Congolese president knows he cannot win the hearts and minds of Congolese to vote for him. everywhere Tshisekedi passed during his campaign rally he found few supporters compared to those of Katumbi and because his first term was marked with a range of failures, he opted to mislead the Congolese by calling Katumbi a foreign candidate and branding him as an enemy of DRC such discrimination and segregation calling fellow citizens foreigners is Tshisekedi disease that is destroying a unit of Congolese and causing people’s sufferance in DRC to vote him out.

Tshisekedi blocked the donation of Katumbi to the people displaced by the War and the volcanic eruption of Goma, during his campaign rally in eastern DRC, Moise Katumbi did a charity act by showing empathy to the starved Congolese displaced by the unjust war caused by Tshisekedi and the volcanic eruption.

Tshisekedi’s rhetoric in the ongoing presidential campaign sows hate amongst Congolese citizens and targets Katumbi who boldly addresses the real problems facing the country. Katumbi is the main contestant whom Tshisekedi might be fearing.
