How will “Tshi Tshi Béte” Know Which Is Which After Integrating Tropical Nazis FDLR Into the FARDC And the GSSP?

Congolese ruler Tshisekedi, war monger also known as “Tshi Tshi Béte” is on a tightrope after his regular army, which is supposed to safeguard the people, has confessed to working with the FDLR, heirs of the perpetrators of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, and currently bearers of hateful racist propaganda against Congolese Rwandaphones of the two Kivus. From oppressors of the Congolese population, Tshisekedi has transformed these tropical Nazis of FDLR into “protectors”!against the community he vilifies as “the Tutsi danger.”

In a desperate bid to hide this, the FARDC spokesperson, General Sylvain Ekenge, announced a ban on any contact with the FDLR. However, the general omits a crucial detail: for the FARDC-FDLR entanglement to cease, military intervention against the latter is imperative—an intervention that is impossible for the moment as senior FARDC officials, starting with the Military Governor of Goma, Peter Cirimwami collude with the FDLR. In addition, since November 2021, it was Tshisekedi himself who decided to make use of the military support of the FDLR, effectively integrating them into the Special Presidential Security Group (GSSP) and the regular army (FARDC) and offering them command positions.

Moreover, the latest report by UN experts highlights not only that the FDLR is a dramatic reality in eastern Congo but that they control the Virunga Park, various armed groups (including the ADF and MaiMai) and collaborate with various Generals of the Congolese armed forces, and enjoy connivance from the Tshisekedi regime. All of this puts the FDLR in a position to influence the policy of the Congolese government and the decisions of President Tshisekedi himself in the hope of unleashing a second genocide against the Tutsi in the region and a war against Rwanda.

Disarming the FDLR is a pipe dream under Tshisekedi’s watch. These extremists understand all too well that the complicity and passivity of Congolese soldiers, in cahoots with various generals, shield them from disarmament. These genocidaires are at the origin of the two wars in the Congo (1996-1997 and 1998-2002), which ended with the completion of a Peace Agreement (April 2003), where supposed to be disarmed and sent back to Rwanda. Yet twenty-one years afterward they are still in the DRC being armed by Tshisekedi and continue to pose a threat to Rwanda and a danger to the Congolese populations.

Despite numerous claims from Congolese officials discrediting the presence of the FDLR in DRC as mere propaganda orchestrated by Rwanda, evidence refutes these assertions. For instance, under Tshisekedi’s directives, FDLR combatants affiliated with Colonel Rurinda’s unit have been deployed within specific battalions and regiments, including the 22nd Brigade and the 3411 regiment, under the leadership of Colonels Mushengezi and Omari Amuri Léonard, respectively, assisted by Colonel Tokolonga Bendet Salomon handling operational and intelligence matters.

At the moment, this trend shows no sign of abating. In fact, it’s going to go into hyperdrive, as Tshisekedi is actively providing support to armed groups, genocidaires, and criminal mercenaries in order to create instability and potentially delay the December elections.
