President Kagame was right to fault the International Community over its misguided posture on what’s happening in Congo. Yes, because it’s a fact that the International Community has been pursuing a wrong approach on DRC security crisis by siding with the Tshisekedi regime, and its propaganda that consistently lays blame on Rwanda for Congo’s self-inflicted messes.
As usual, Rwanda National Congress (RNC) terrorist spokesperson David Himbara aka Murunganwa, tries to insert himself into the conversation – looking for attention of course. What can a patently dishonest mouthpiece of a terrorist group such as RNC have to say that’s objective about the Rwandan leadership?
Rwanda can never be the carrier of the Congolese burden, like the president remarked. Foreign actors and entities involved in finding lasting peace to the war-torn Eastern Congo ought to own up to their responsibilities, to call out the Tshisekedi regime for the abject failure it is at governing its territory.
On the other hand, the European Union, and other countries the Murunganwa (aka fraudulent “academic” Himbara) mentions – in his spurious attacks on the Rwandan leadership – also condemn the proliferation of hate speech, and incitement to genocide by Kinshasa against Congolese Tutsi citizens.
The same countries warned the Tshisekedi regime to halt all collaborations with illegal armed groups including the anti-Rwanda genocidal, terror group-FDLR (whose members are responsible for the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda). But, the RNC being in the same terrorist grouping as the genocidal FDLR, Himbara of course tries to obfuscate matters.
Of course he won’t talk about the castigation of FDLR and other terror groups (of which RNC is part and parcel). He only picks a sentence in a full page EU statement just because it was against the Kigali leadership. Murunganwa is the biggest fraud, and it shows, all the time.
Everybody knows that Himbara’s only job is to write propaganda and smears against the Rwandan President, hoping all sorts of negative things befall Rwanda. He is deluded.
The troll will never succeed, with Rwanda being such a strong partner in building a better Africa. The very European Union (which he is begging to “sanction” Rwanda) for instance contributed €20 million to support Rwanda’s peace building operations in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. That’s just a small example.
Rwanda’s credibility is unshakable, least of all by some disillusioned, failed “academic.”
