Tshisekedi shouts he wants war with Rwanda, publicly ditches regional peace frameworks

Congolese regime ruler Felix Tshisekedi has reiterated his commitment “to go to war with Rwanda”, by calling upon the Congolese population to join efforts in the fight against “Rwanda’s aggression”.

Tshisekedi, the failed ruler of a dysfunctional state is in full “blame-Rwanda mode. He declares war yet he has been offered several peace frameworks – Nairobi, Luanda etc – to sort issues between fellow Congolese that he conveniently chooses to blame Rwanda for. Tshisekedi prefers to lie that he has “pursued diplomatic means to resolve the crisis but it didn’t bear fruit”!

The Congolese president’s warmongering statement comes amidst his Rwandan counterpart’s calls for de-escalation, and peaceful resolution of the conflict between warring parties, in DR Congo.

During a discussion with United Nations Secretary General António Guterres on October, 31, President Kagame pledged full support to a peaceful end of the conflict by implementing the recommendations stipulated in both the Nairobi Process and the Luanda Peace Roadmap.

Instead, Tshisekedi is making speeches inciting Congolese civilians “to fight Rwanda.” It obviously speaks to Tshisekedi’s desire to perpetrate genocide against Kinyarwanda-speaking Tutsi citizens of DRC. He whips up hate against Rwanda on completely false premises, because hate is the only way to deflect attention from his absolutely failed regime.

The world has already seen what the Tshisekedi regime’s genocidal agenda is. Tutsi Congolese in the east have been victims of mobs that kill them in heinous ways – such as beheading (with some of Tshisekedi’s cannibal supporters eating them), their homes torched, women raped. It is a bit like what happened during the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda. It isn’t surprising since Tshisekedi’s army, FARDC, has integrated the genocidal FDLR – a terror outfit founded by the very people that perpetrated genocide in Rwanda.

The power-hungry Tshisekedi is also using the supposed “Rwanda’s aggression” as pretext to cling on to power. As the country heads to general polls come December 2023, the regime ruler is drumming up anti Rwanda hate, as a means to gain support.

It will never work.

There is a dichotomy between what Tshisekedi wants (which is power) and what the Congolese people want: good governance.

He will be exposed, and kicked out.
