Convicted genocide denier Ingabire Victoire Umuhoza (IVU) is increasingly committing crimes that should not go unnoticed as far as accountability is concerned.
This time around, the revisionist went the extra mile to threaten another “possible” genocide that will be worse than the 1994 Genocide perpetrated against Tutsi. That is if the seating Government of Rwanda keeps rejecting what she always refers to as the “Inter-Rwandan Dialogue” that would bring about “governance reform.”
The unremorseful criminal made the incendiary declaration through a lengthy opinion piece she published yesterday in a Belgian Newspaper “Le Vif”.
Ingabire, in that balderdash, brought it out clearly that she has the manpower to execute “her genocidal plan”. Her manpower, according to her, is comprised of “more than 200,000 overseas-based refugees” with ages between 10 to 44 whom the Government of Rwanda “denied” the opportunity to repatriate.
The “refugees” that Ingabire incessantly talks about are the members of anti-Rwanda terrorist groups such as FDU-Inkingi, of which she is a de facto leader, blacklisted FDLR genocidal group, and RNC among others.
To everyone’s surprise, Ingabire called on the International Community to weigh in and pressure Rwanda into admitting to dialogue for “history [genocide] to not happen again”. This is something that clearly explains the magnitude of a dubious project that the rogue woman has in her mind.
Rwandans are used to Ingabire’s continued gambits in international media outlets. However, IVU wants to draw the International Community’s attention to her tribulations and quest to transition from a convicted criminal to an “opposition politician”. This is something that won’t be given to her criminal record.
History won’t forget that the unrepentant criminal was in 2010 arrested and sentenced to 15 years after the court found her guilty of multiple crimes, such as forming armed groups to destabilize the country, and belittling the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
In September 2018, Ingabire benefited from presidential clemency and got released from prison, only to start abusing that clemency. She had written to the President many times crying and begging for clemency and committing to change, something she has abused to date.
Concerned institutions should consider putting this revisionist criminal’s evil deeds under fresh investigations to ascertain whether her parole should be revoked or not. However, from the look of things and her malicious plans, she should be thrown back into prison to serve her remaining sentence.
Ingabire is on a suicidal mission that won’t succeed. She is a daydreamer whose deeds should awaken law enforcers as soon as now and start acting against her before it’s not too late.
