Hariana Verás Victória, a naked propagandist that masquerades as a journalist

A certain lady called Hariana Veras Victoria (a pseudo-journalist) has shown time and again that she will sell her soul to the devil for a dollar – which she has already done for Tshisekedi of the DRC, and Burundi’s Evariste Ndayishimiye aka Gen. Neva.

Take her recent interview with Ndayishimiye: It was a carefully crafted con, a parade of propaganda dressed as an interview. She offered a one-sided litany of distortion, and omission.

She asked no questions about the mounting crimes against humanity under Ndayishimiye’s rule; not the absence of electricity in Burundi; nor the skyrocketing youth unemployment rate (at 84% the highest in the world). She chose not to ask about the terror imposed by Gen. Neva’s forces on defenceless Burundian civilians.

Shortages of food, fuel, medicine, and even sugar? Not a peep. A totally collapsed economy (making Burundi the world’s poorest hellhole)? Total silence.

And it gets worse. She ignored the most salient facts: over 20,000 Burundian troops alongside Imbonerakure militias armed by the CNDD-FDD deployed in South Kivu, in support of Tshisekedi’s tropical neo-Nazi forces who are terrorising villages like Banyamulenge in Minembwe.

Civilians have been shelled in Kamanyola, Katogota, and Luvungi; homes, schools, and churches have been destroyed. Children among the casualties.

Yet Verás never asked how Ndayishimiye justifies this, never probed the Kleptocracy that turned Burundi into a pariah state. Instead, she peddled the regime’s talking points, painting aggressors as victims, and Rwanda as the enemy.

This is the same pattern that saw her White House press credentials revoked last year. She had been caught crafting questions designed to elicit praise for Angola’s government, violating basic journalistic ethics. Now, she has repeated the same performance, selling her pen and her soul to the highest bidder: cash-filled hands belonging to Tshisekedi and Ndayishimiye.

If you ever needed to know what a paid propagandist looks like, look no further than Hariana Verás Victória.
