Tshisekedi petty propaganda attempts to spin ongoing crimes against Banyamulenge community

The recent letter from the so-called “International Union of Banyamulenge” (UIB) is nothing more than a paid propaganda gimmick by Félix Tshisekedi, designed to hide the systematic ethnic cleansing his coalition forces are carrying out against the Banyamulenge community in South Kivu.

Reports show the 21st Infantry Brigade of the FARDC, alongside the genocidal, terrorist forces of the FDLR, MAI-MAI Wazalendo, mercenaries, Imbonerakure, and the Burundi Army have since August 27, 2025, relentlessly bombarded Minembwe and Kalehe using drones and heavy artillery.

By paying Banyamulenge sell-outs like Alexis Gisaro to claim that Rwanda is plotting a “new massacre”, Tshisekedi attempts to divert attention from his own murderous actions.

Tshisekedi’s propaganda through the UIB letter cannot conceal the reality: his regime has turned the national army into an instrument of ethnic terror. The inclusion of genocidal FDLR elements and Wazalendo militias in coordinated strikes against civilians is undeniable, yet the letter falsely shifts blame to Rwanda. Every claim in the UIB letter serves only to confuse and mislead, while the actual coalition forces execute a deliberate campaign of extermination.

Even Burundi’s role in the coalition underscores the absurdity of the UIB letter. General Neva is currently using the Bujumbura airport as a base for all the attacks aimed at annihilating the Banyamulenge from South Kivu. Yet the UIB letter tries to frame Rwanda as the aggressor, suggesting that Banyamulenge are being “used as sacrificial victims” to falsely accuse the DRC and Burundi. This is pure Tshilomboian propaganda, designed to hide obvious crimes.

The human cost of Tshisekedi’s campaign is staggering, and the UIB letter cannot erase it. Villages are destroyed, civilians massacred, and Minembwe’s infrastructure obliterated. Yet, Tshisekedi channels resources into propagandistic letters instead of protecting the people he claims to serve.

The international community cannot be fooled by the UIB letter; its purpose is transparent, and its absurdity is undeniable. By paying sell-outs to fabricate propaganda blaming Rwanda, Tshisekedi exposes both his cynicism and his complicity in crimes against humanity.
