The global reference for idiotic rule (Kakistocracy) is none other than the current Burundian regime under Ndayishimiye Evariste.
Together with his genocidaire allies (Tshisekedi, FDLR, others), they freely issue threats of war against Rwanda. However, they ought to know that under international law, it is not only illegal to threats a sovereign state but crucially, it gives the threatned party the right to act under the jus ad Bellum doctrine.
The buffoon, Evariste Ndayishimiye, literally broke international law in front of the diplomatic corps in Bujumbura. “There will be war in the region”, Ndayishimiye said as he developed the most absurd argument for sending Burundian troops in Congo. He claims that Rwanda recruited and trained Burundian refugees and that they are now being battle hardened in Congo. “One day they will return”, he said refering to the refugees allegedly being trained and battle hardened.
So, he threats Rwanda with war, and promises an escalation that will destabilise the entire region.
The idiotic leader was visibly panicked after more than 10,000 Burundian soldiers failed to dent the M23 Congolese movement that’s liberated Goma. Although, it is already public knowledge that Ndayishimiye sent his army to support Tshisekedi and FDLR’s plans to attack Rwanda, his outburst revealed his second motive: to prevent Burundian refugees from returning to Burundi. Regardless of the cause, Jus ad Bellum or right to war can be invoked to respond to threats; contrary to public belief, one does not have to wait for the threat to be materialised.
After the fall of Goma, Ndayishimiye finds himself in an extremely precarious position. He needs to notify thousands of Burundian families that their loved ones died in a war that had nothing to do with Burundi. Tshisekedi, who bribed him to deploy the Burundian military, will also be on his case asking for a refund after the dismal performance. Burundian soldiers folded and fled, they were not willing to die for Ndayishimiye corrupt order. Moreover, Ndayishimiye also finds himself vulnerable to high treason charges; for a payday, he deployed the army and his actions endangered Burundi’s national security.
Idiotically, in search for a reason or valid cause to explain his erratic decision to illegally deploy the army on foreign soil, he issued threats to attack Rwanda. Truly, the toxic mix of leadership and idiocy is a tragedy.
