The suffering of Congolese means nothing to Tshisekedi; his pleasure comes first!

It took three days for the Tshisekedi regime to condemn the carnage in which the sanctioned ADF terror outfit killed hundreds of innocent Congolese. The man is just less concerned by ordinary Congolese!

The press release from the Ministry of Communication comes after a concerned Congolese took to social media to protest their government’s deafening silence. Note that the government mentions “41 victims” while several local sources report “more than 100 deaths.

Even if journalists and other officials put pressure on the regime to say something about these daily killings of ADF, 3 days ago there were no press releases from the Presidency.

No government press release, No press release from the chancelleries, No international compassion, No days of mourning, No assistance to victims. Since there was no possibility of drawing a parallel with Rwanda, the massacre, 2000 kilometers away, could not serve Tshisekedi’s regime politically.

In Congo under the regime of Tshisekedi who has prioritized whining and blaming games, if your death doesn’t serve Tshisekedi as justification for war against M23, you are more likely to be buried in banana leaves or plastic bags.

There is no single day without hearing the deaths of Congolese from Ituri and Beni killed by the ADF, and the Tshisekedi regime remains silent because their deaths do not correspond to their propaganda from the M23 and Rwanda.

Between the more than 75 deaths of Beni in 4 days and Tshisekedi chose to be at Stade de Martyr cheering the national team football match this Sunday, June 9. Tshisekedi’s message has been clear since 2019 that the suffering of Congolese means absolutely nothing to him and his pleasure comes before their lives.

It is not the first time because every time the killings happened in DRC, on the other side you see Tshisekedi attending weddings, anniversaries and other leisure activities instead of taking care of his people.

Last month, when Government forces and its coalition of FADLR, SADC, Wazalendo, and Burundian army launched a bombing attack on Mugunga camp, the regime immediately rushed to accuse Rwanda and M23, where Tshisekedi even sent his delegation of 3 ministers to politicide and propagate the bombings while accusing Rwanda.

Selective compassion used for propaganda purposes can only reinforce feelings of disappointment and discrimination among other victims.

In eastern DRC there are about 266 armed groups many of which are supported by Tshisekedi and his officials, causing a humanitarian crisis and the death of many innocent Congolese under the watch of the international community.

The humanitarian crisis in eastern DRC, exacerbated by the reign of terror from the ADF and FDLR, urgently requires international attention. Tshisekedi’s regime has been complicit in these atrocities, with FARDC soldiers aiding rebel operations.
