The “Africanized” Nazi virus behind Belgium’s controversial decision

Belgium has caused a massive uproar by rejecting Vincent Karega as the ambassador-designate to the former colonial Kingdom. But it’s not just the rejection itself that’s got everyone talking – it’s the sneaky reasons behind it that are deeply troubling!

According to the Rwandan Government’s Spokesperson, Yolande Makolo, Belgium buckled under pressure from two factions. First, the Tshisekedi regime and its shadowy allies, the infamous Hutu Power forces lurking under the chilling banner of “FDLR.” And second, the negationist organizations of offspring of those responsible for the horrifying 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, all huddled up in Jambo ASBL.

This lot is a radical, extremist “Hutu Power” cohort based in Belgium, shamelessly whitewashing their parents’ heinous crimes, with some directly connected to the Tutsi genocide. In fact, these offspring of the Hutu Power Regime couldn’t care less about playing by the diplomatic rulebook. They just had to blab about Belgium’s decision, completely disregarding international norms as if it’s no big deal. Outrageous, isn’t it?

The dark truth is, some in Belgium and these notorious genocidal groups share something in common: the extremist Hutu Power Ideology. It all traces back to Belgian missionaries’ nefarious activities way back in 1957. These so-called missionaries were bent on poisoning the minds of the natives with divisive ideologies pitting one group against the other. The seeds of Hutu extremism that they planted led to the first pogroms of Hutus against Tutsis starting in 1959, onwards – until 1994 when the liberation forces of the RPF put an end to genocidal ideology and all sorts of revisionism in Rwanda.

But the “Hutu power” tropical Nazism found exile in DRC, and further afield in Europe, where it took root in the form of groups like Jambo Asbl.

These extremists and carriers of the remnants of “Hutu Power” have been relentless in their propaganda and smears against current government of national unity as a “Tutsi regime.”

Now Vincent Karega is in their crosshairs, with the offspring of genocidaires tarnishing him with allegations that he is somehow responsible for bloodshed in DRC that in fact is the direct result of security failures of the Tshisekedi regime.

Of course if we delve into history, Rwanda has zero responsibility for DRC messes.

We’re talking about the establishment of the “Congo Free State” – a rather peculiar choice of words, don’t you think? – as the personal property of King Leopold II of Belgium, who shamelessly referred to it as “le magnifique gâteau africain” (the magnificent African cake).

Sadly, between 1885 and 1902, this “magnifique gâteau africain” witnessed the horrors of the first genocide in modern African history, with ten million lives lost due to the Belgian royal family’s pursuit of control over rubber plantations and copper mines. These actions transformed a small, impoverished European nation into a global colonial power. From there, a controversial process led to Congolese “independence” on June 30, 1960, but oh boy, did the troubles follow!

From rebellions to Belgium lending a hand to Chief of Staff Joseph-Désiré Mobutu’s oppression – arresting, torturing, and executing Lumumba, even nicknaming him “Lumumbavitch”! Let’s not forget how Belgium turned a blind eye when Mobutu warmly embraced the Hutu Power forces after their monstrous 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, bringing a world of turmoil to the DRC that still plagues the region to this day.

We can go on and on but let’s face the truth: Belgium needs to do some serious soul-searching and provide answers about their involvement in the DRC mess. The spotlight shouldn’t fall on Rwanda in any way, let alone Vincent Karega.

If they (Belgium) fail to come clean about their disastrous actions in the Great Lakes Region and right their wrongs, Versmessen Bert might find himself handed a 24-hour eviction notice!
