David Himbara, the RNC terrorist mouthpiece sponsored by Museveni and Rujugiro, suffers from non sequitur —illogical— reasoning. It is visible whenever he runs out of smear to tarnish Rwanda with and deliberately opts for cheap propaganda. He now has the audacity to review projects in Rwanda.
His recent attack, on railway cooperation between Rwanda and Zimbabwe, is a good illustration of his upside down reasoning. The paid mouthpiece claims that Rwanda has no business learning railway science from Zimbabwe despite the fact that it is building a railway. In his propaganda, he would have you believe that one acquires a railway and then trains staff only after acquisition. It would be the equivalent of buying a car without a driving license or a qualified driver!
But such “logic” fits the caliber of Museveni and Rujugiro’s paid mouthpieces; after all, they only seek to disparage Rwanda and scapegoat it to distract from the catastrophic collapse of Uganda under their tight grip. On railways, for example, Uganda had a functional railway when Museveni took over 35 years ago but his kleptocracy dismantled it with their endemic corruption. The same faith befell Uganda Airways, Museveni and his cronies eat it! The national airline carrier also failed its rival more than 30 years later marred with corrupt dealings. It turned out that the Airliner was a private company, with unlicensed pilots with so much debt that suppliers refused to fuel it! The pattern is simple, Museveni and Rujugiro destroy state owned projects to replace it with mafia owned companies to steal from the public coffers.
Clearly, his sponsored mouthpiece has no lessons to give on project management and is only diverting attention from the catastrophic consequences of corruption in Uganda. If anything, Himbara should learn more about Rwanda’s approach to projects and advice his sponsoring regime.
Instead, David Himbara aka Murunganwa spends his time on useless attacks to please his sponsors as they sink deeper into a state of chaos.
