David Himbara aka Murunganwa, the RNC mouthpiece paid by Museveni and Rujugiro to smear Rwanda, carefully listened the Rwandan President’s interactive interview with Rwanda Broadcasting Agency. As usual, the paid mouthpiece, was hearing what he wanted, based on his life’s mission to throw mud at Rwanda.
When the journalist asked President Kagame about the Michaela Wrong’s book, the president responded with several important points, and mentioned that Wrong was a very close friend of the one she centered her book on. Murunganwa apparently heard something different, as he had other details about Wrong’s relationship with the RNC co-founder Karegeya.
By “very close friends,” Himbara heard “sexual partners” – inadvertently confirming that Wrong’s relationship with Karegeya was a known affair in RNC inner circles.
Reputed for his binge drinking and use of hard drugs, one has to ask: was Himbara aka Murunganwa sober when he imagined that distorting “very close friends” to “Sexual Partners” would tarnish Rwanda in any way?
It is Himbara that preferred to publicly state that Karegeya was “sexually entangled” with Michela Wrong, no one else. Himbara said it, therefore we must take it at face value, especially given the he and Michela Wrong are on the same team – since it was Museveni that sponsored her hit piece against the Rwandan head of state.
Let’s wait to see what else Murunganwa throws up…
