Terrorist Kayumba Nyamwasa’s Childish Defense On Behalf Of Espionage And Treason Suspect Umuhoza

Terrorist Kayumba Nyamwasa, leader of the Rwandan National Congress terrorist movement with activities in Uganda, comes up with the lamest excuse to defend his active cells. Conveniently confusing persecution and prosecution, he laments about an ongoing investigation into Jackie Umuhoza; daughter to his RNC Uganda Province Executive Committee coordinator, Deo Nyirigira.

Using his pseudo Facebook account RPF Gakwerere, he is under the illusion that he can bully the Rwandan security services to be complaisant in their investigations. The Rwandan Investigation Bureau announced that Jackie Umuhoza was arrested and charged with treason and espionage on the 27th of November 2019. Somehow, a convicted fugitive Kayumba Nyamwasa is the loudest voice for her release.

Of all RNC cells, the Ugandan chapter is the most active and important for the terrorist organization. Through it, they obtain state support from the Ugandan regime. The Nyirigira family is very close to Corrupt Museveni family. In fact, Umuhoza is one of the few personally people followed by Uganda’s first son, Lt-Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

In the Nyirigira family, terrorism is a family enterprise conducted through their AGAPE Church. Not only are there survivors’ testimony that the father “Pastor” personally gets involved in who gets abducted by the Ugandan Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) but brother, Mwizerwa Felix, was once caught red handed trying to send RNC fighters to DR Congo. In a well-documented incident at the Kikagati Uganda-Tanzania border, Mwizerwa was caught with a convoy of fighters masquerading as pilgrims of the AGAPE Church.

The CMI-RNC’s operation was interrupted by the Ugandan Police officers that arrested the RNC recruits. But as RNC yields influence in Uganda, the recruits were eventually released and sent to DRC Congo as planned. Some of these militias were later on captured in Eastern Congo and extradited to Rwanda to face trial, it is believed that Felix Mwizerwa is also in Congo where he now Commands leftovers of his botched attempts to destabilize Rwanda from East Congo.

The childish defense that Umuhoza was previously arrested and that therefore she is persecuted is laughable. Investigations in serious offense can take years. The fact that she had not been charged and released previously only indicates the judicial process in Rwanda is a sharp contrast to what innocents Rwandans endure in Uganda.

Umuhoza, unlike the persecuted innocent Rwandans in Uganda, is detained in lawful custody and her case file is being processed for the prosecution. For the hundreds of innocents Rwandans, CMI simply torture, locks them up in undisclosed location with no charges laid down; families are left to wonder where their loved ones are and why their parents or children are targeted.
