Joint Operation in DRC, Strike Fear In Terrorist Kayumba Nyamwasa

Terrorist Kayumba Nyamwasa, the leader of the RNC rebel group is panicking more than ever before. In yesterday’s article posted on his anonymous Facebook account “Robert Patrick Fati Gakwerere,” the fugitive is showing signs of a fearful man who once thought to be untouchable. He thinks that the claimed Uganda refusal for joint operations with the DRC army against terrorism in Congo will stop other countries.

But Nyamwasa forgets that it is not up to Uganda, what happens in Congo is determined by the Congolese government. In his argument, Kayumba claimed that Uganda rejected the deployment of Rwandan forces simply because it was near to its borders. But Nyamwasa forgets that Uganda is not in the right position to take any decision on where Rwandan deployment will be placed in DRC since it is not representing Kinshasa.

The Uganda action shows nothing but a clear sign that Kampala backs terrorists. Discussions about the joint operation were between Congo and its neighbors but ultimately, it will be Congo’s decision. The Kampala regime does not control DRC or what DRC chooses to do together with neighbors.

The Congolese leadership is determined to rid its country of rebel, and terrorist groups. To that end, it is prepared to work with neighboring countries.
